How we use cookies on eirstay.com
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.
EirStay uses essential cookies to keep the website working. If you choose Accept, we also enable Google Analytics, Google Ads and, when configured, Meta Pixel for analytics and advertising measurement. These optional tags do not load until you accept.
Language preference — remembers your chosen language (English, French, or German) so you don't have to select it on every visit. This cookie lasts for 1 year.
Session cookie — used to keep you logged in if you access the admin or corporate portal. This cookie expires when you close your browser or after 24 hours.
Cookie choice — saved in your browser's local storage until you change it or clear site data. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.
Google Analytics — with your permission, we measure visits and interactions to improve the website. Analytics cookies can contain identifiers; this information should not be treated as anonymous.
Google Ads and Meta Pixel — with your permission, these tags measure advertising results and may use cookies to associate visits and actions with advertisements.

Decline disables optional tracking events and withdraws Google and Meta consent on the current page. We remove readable Google and Meta cookies set on this site where possible. We cannot remove cookies held on third-party domains or undo data already sent while you had accepted. Essential login, language and booking functions remain available.

If you complete a pre-booking questionnaire, EirStay stores your answers with the booking enquiry. We use your contact details, booking arrangements, guest numbers, intended property use and answers about property rules to assess whether the proposed stay meets the accommodation requirements and to discuss anything that needs clarification.
A rule-based booking-fit score helps our staff review the answers. It is advisory only: a person makes the approval decision. The score does not predict unlawful activity, and the questionnaire does not request identification documents. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your answers.
The answers, score and review notes are available to authorised EirStay administrators. Contact bookings@eirstay.com to ask about your information, correct an answer or discuss a booking decision.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data we hold about you. If you have any questions about our use of cookies or your personal data, please contact us at bookings@eirstay.com.
