Now Live: Discover Our New Rathgar Apartment in Dublin 6

When we first introduced Rathgar, we shared what makes this Dublin 6 neighbourhood appealing for a longer stay: its residential streets, village shops and the opportunity to build a routine beyond the city centre. Now we can show you the home itself.

Our new Rathgar apartment is live on the EirStay website. It is a one-bedroom home listed for one guest, with a separate living area, an equipped kitchen and onsite parking. For a professional on assignment, someone starting a new role or a guest relocating to Dublin, it offers a private base with space to settle in.

A first look inside

The new photographs show a bright living room with a grey sofa, an armchair, a coffee table and a wall-mounted television. A dining area gives you somewhere to sit down for a meal, while the separate bedroom keeps your sleeping space apart from the rest of the apartment.

That separation can make a difference over several weeks. You can unpack, cook dinner and relax in the evening without treating one hotel room as your bedroom, dining room and sitting room.

The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee maker. The listing also includes Wi-Fi, a Smart TV and laundry facilities—practical details that help make a longer stay feel manageable.

Why choose Rathgar for a longer stay?

Rathgar offers a different setting from a city-centre address. Its established residential character, local shops, cafés and restaurants give you the opportunity to get to know a neighbourhood while you are in Dublin.

For a work stay, that means there is life outside the assignment: buying ingredients for dinner, finding a regular coffee spot or taking a walk after a day at the office. You have the choice of preparing meals at home or exploring places to eat locally.

If you are relocating, a temporary base here also gives you time to learn your way around Dublin before making longer-term decisions. You can establish a working routine while exploring the city at your own pace.

Our earlier Rathgar neighbourhood guide looks more closely at village life and the surrounding area. It is a useful companion to the property gallery when deciding whether this location suits you.

Keep the practical journeys in mind

The apartment includes onsite parking, which is useful if you need a car for work or regular journeys beyond the centre. Bus services also connect Rathgar with Dublin city centre.

Before choosing your stay, compare the property location with your actual workplace, meetings or other regular destinations. Include the walk to a stop, any connections and the time of day you will travel. We would rather help you assess the journey that matters to you than promise a single commute time for every guest.

If parking, access arrangements or working from the apartment are particularly important, mention them in your enquiry so we can confirm the details you need.

Who is this apartment for?

The current listing accommodates one guest in one bedroom. It is an option to consider for:

  • Professionals on assignment: a private base during a Dublin project or temporary role.
  • Relocating employees: somewhere to settle while getting to know the city and arranging a longer-term home.
