Before choosing Rathgar—or any Dublin neighbourhood—check the route between your accommodation and the office you will actually attend.
Bus connections are relevant for many journeys from the area. Depending on the property’s location and your destination, access to the Luas Green Line may also be worth considering. However, Rathgar village is not itself a Luas stop, so include the walk to and from the tram in your planning.
Avoid relying on a general promise of being “minutes from the city”. Traffic, departure time, walking distance and the precise office address all affect the journey. Check current routes with Transport for Ireland before making your plans.
If you expect to drive, confirm parking arrangements at both your accommodation and your workplace before booking.
